A life tracker that turns your year into one grid.

I'm Eusebiu. I built loggd.life by myself, with no investors. Below you'll find my story, my real numbers, photos, videos and everything you need to write about it — or grab it all in one zip.

The story

I started loggd.life in November 2025. I'd been tracking my habits and goals in Notion. It worked, but it felt like writing a long document every day. Boring. Lonely.

I wanted something more fun. Something with a community. Something where I could see my whole year on one screen — a colorful grid that fills up as I check things off. And something with points, levels and streaks, so it would feel more like a game than a chore.

I launched the website on December 10, 2025, and the iPhone app on April 1, 2026. Android is coming in mid-June 2026. I share everything as I build — every signup, every euro of revenue, every mistake, every bad review — on Threads, every single day.

From a 1-star review to a 4.7-star average

My very first App Store review was one star. It hit me harder than I expected. I kept shipping anyway — and the good reviews started showing up.

When I launched the iPhone app on April 1, 2026, my very first App Store review was one star. I won't pretend that didn't sting — I had spent months on the launch. I screenshot it, posted it on Threads, and kept building. I didn't change what the reviewer was actually asking me to change (that part is just how the business works), so this story isn't about fixing a bad app. It's about not letting one early voice define the whole launch. Within a few weeks, the good reviews started showing up. As of May 19, 2026, my average sits at 4.7 stars.
€1,400 → 1,600+ users

€1,400 on ads got me 2 customers. Posting daily got me 1,600+

Early on, I tried Meta and Google ads. Spent €1,400. Got 2 paying customers. Stopped. Started posting on Threads every day. Six weeks later: 1,600+ iPhone users — for free.

In early 2026, I spent €1,400 on Facebook and Google ads, thinking that was how indie apps grew. The result: roughly 150 signups and only 2 paying customers. I stopped the ads entirely. Instead, I started posting on Threads every single day — what I was building, what was working, what wasn't, every signup number, every revenue figure, every bad review. Six weeks after I launched the iPhone app in April 2026, I had over 1,600 iPhone users. Total ad spend in that period: zero.
€14 → €940+

From €14 in my first month to €940+ a month after six

I knew growth takes time, so the €14 didn't scare me. Six months and a lot of work later, I'm past €940 a month — on track to close May above €1k.

My first month after launch — December 2025 — I made €14. Total. I knew growth takes time, so I wasn't panicked, but I also wasn't complacent. I kept posting, kept shipping, kept charging from day one (a lesson from my last failed project, where I never charged anyone). By mid-May 2026 I was past €940, on track to close the month over €1,000. Running costs are around €90 a month. Most of the revenue comes from one-time €89 lifetime purchases, with monthly subscriptions building steadily underneath. No investors, no loans, no ads. Just six months of shipping in public, every single day.

Posts that landed

A few moments when posting openly turned into real traction for me.

About me

Eusebiu Balan, founder of loggd.life

Eusebiu Balan

Solo founder · Iași, Romania

I've been building loggd.life since November 2025 and posting about it daily since I launched. I haven't missed a single day on Threads, where I share everything: user numbers, money I make, mistakes, bad reviews. Before loggd.life I spent months on a different app I never charged anyone for, and it never launched. The lesson I took into loggd.life: charge from day one.

"I built loggd.life because Notion felt like a chore. I wanted something I'd open every day that shows me the shape of my year on one screen. I share everything as I build it — every number, every mistake. The people on Threads are the reason this app is still alive."

Common questions

If you're an influencer, you can skip the last two — they're for journalists who want technical details.

Did you take investor money?
No. Zero investors, zero loans, zero grants. It's funded by me and by paying users.
Is the app making money?
Just about. In May 2026 I made over €940. It costs me around €90 a month to run. Most of that money comes from people who pay €89 once for lifetime access, so my steady monthly income (MRR) is around €230 and growing.
Tell me more about the failed ads.
In early 2026 I spent €1,400 on Facebook and Google ads. Result: about 150 new users and only 2 of them paid. I stopped the ads, started posting daily on Threads, and got 1,600+ iPhone users for free in 6 weeks.
How big is the team?
It's just me. I do everything: design, code, customer support, marketing.
What's coming next?
Android first — it's the most-requested thing by far. After that I work through a long list of features users have asked for. I'm planning to be heads-down on user-requested work through the end of 2026. The goal is a great app, so I take my time on the details.
How do you protect user data?
Your data belongs to you. I don't sell it. I don't share it with advertisers. You can download a copy or delete it all anytime, from inside the app.
Can I try the app before writing about it?
Two options: (1) hit "Try demo" on the homepage hero — it logs you into a read-only demo account, no signup needed. (2) For a real Pro test account, email me at eusebiu@loggd.life or message me on Threads (@eusebiu.ba) and I'll set one up.
What technology is it built with? (for journalists)
Web app: Laravel, Vue.js and Inertia. Mobile apps (iPhone + Android): Expo / React Native. Payments: Lemon Squeezy on web, RevenueCat on mobile.
